This 1 owner family home in the Beechwood Village area of St. Matthews will be offered to the public at absolute auction on Saturday, November 4, at 12:00 Noon.  This brick ranch offers 3 large bedrooms, 1 bath, a large kitchen, dining area, a large living room w/ fireplace.  There is a large family room on the rear of the house and there is a full basement which is partially finished as a recreation room.  This home was built in the mid 50's.  There is a 1.5 car garage and there are plenty of perennials in the yard.

Personal property includes: furniture from the 50’s to current.  There is a nice oak dining room table w/six chairs and a matching buffet, also there is an oak china cabinet which would go well with the table and chairs.  There is a nice cherry Willett bedroom suit, and a Child Craft baby bed with a built-in chest of drawers, and a matching changing chest.  We will also have an assortment of glassware, good china and other useful and collectable items.  We will have some Fenton, Hobnail, McCoy, Pfaltzgraft, old bar items, an old smoking pipe, straight razors, old models from the 60’s & 70’s, a gas model airplane and other neat items.  Comic books from the 60's & 70's, Mad magazines and some history magaizines of WWII.  We will have a nice stained oak- glass front book case.  Please check back to this website, we will update more information as we find other interesting items.

Personal Property:  All sales are final, Cash, Visa, MasterCard, state tax collected as required and a 10% premium will be added to determine the final purchase price.  Real Estate Buyer’s terms: there will be a $10,000 non-refundable deposit made at time of auction, cash, cashier’s check or a personal check with a bank letter of guaranteed credit must be presented to the auction company before the bidding process begins.  Balance of the final purchase price must be presented at closing within 30 days from the day of auction. There will be a 10 % buyer’s premium added to the highest bid to determine the final contract purchase price between the buyer and the seller.  All property taxes will be prorated at time of closing.  Additional terms may be announced at time of auction and all announcements made on day of auction shall take precedence over all previous announcements.  This property will be sold as-is with no warranty, refunds or exchanges.  It shall be the bidder's responsibility to determine suitability of the property prior to the bidding process.  Lead Based Paint inspection period to begin October 25, 2006.
